The Newcastle Northstars have released their roster for the 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Comparing to the 2024 roster, it includes 16 returning player and 7 new signings, while 15 players are released.
The new players include Ryan Annesley (from Sydney Bears), Brian Funes (from Sydney Bears), Devon Gatenby, Arki Hearn (from Central Coast Rhinos), Benjamin Kleineschay, Casey Kubara (from Canberra Brave), and Riley Tonks (from Kallhälls IF)
The players dropped are Daniel Berno, Tanner Butler, Mathieu Desautels, Robert Duchemin, Hunter Ellen, Mitsuaki Inoue, Samuel Lammert, Kyler Matthews, Sean Oultram, Hamish Powell, Drew Robson, Jayden Ryan, Josh Secomb, Aiden Wagner, and Alexander Yuill.
