The Newcastle Northstars have released their roster for the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Comparing to the Northstars’ 2023 roster it includes 21 returning players and six new signings while ten players are released.

The new players include Mathieu Desautels (from EV Lindau), Robert Duchemin, Drew Robson (from Perth Thunder), Jayden Ryan (from Central Coast Rhinos), Josh Secomb, and Aiden Wagner (from Evansville Thunderbolts).

The players dropped are Josh Adkins (to Adelaide Adrenaline), Ryan Duchemin, Zane Jones (to Perth Thunder), John Kennedy (to Perth Thunder), Mathew Lindsay, Melker Molund (to Järfälla HC), Connor Schultz, Andrew Smardon (to Central Coast Rhinos), Riley Tonks, and Thomas Wedesweiler.
