Brisbane Lightning has announced the signing of Swiss forward Jules Sturny for the 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Sturny spent 2024–25 playing for EHC Basel in the Swiss League where he scored eleven goals and six assists in 51 games. He also competed in an additional three games for Basel in the National Cup. Between 2015 and 2025, Sturny has competed in 188 games across four seasons in the National League and 239 games across seven seasons in the Swiss League (formally National League B).
