Continuing our look at the Australian players who were competing overseas during the 2024–25 season. Today is Part 1 of 11 featuring Australians in Canada.
Declan Adams (NAPHL profile): First season in Canada. Playing for the Ste-Cécile Stallions 16U in the North American Prep Hockey League’s 16U Division, Adams recorded two goals and three assists from 25 games.
Eleanor Bartter (OHA profile): First season in Canada. Playing for the Ontario Hockey Academy’s Jr Varsity team, Bartter scored six goals and eight assists across 58 games.
Hunter Boland (GMHL profile, NAPHL profile): First season in Canada. Boland started his season with the St. George Ravens of the Greater Metro Hockey League where he recorded an assist from six games. He then moved across to Victus Academy where he played 28 games in the North American Prep Hockey League’s Varsity-18U Division, scoring a goal and nine assists, and four games in the United States Premier Hockey League’s Elite Division.
Calvin Bright (PJHL profile): Third season with the Langley Trappers in the Pacific Junior Hockey League. Playing in 38 games for Langley during the season, Bright recorded a goal and two assists.
Ava Caruso (HTI statistics): Playing in her third season with the Hockey Training Institute Stars, Caruso scored four goals and three assists in 21 games.
