Continuing our look at the Australian players who were competing overseas during the 2024–25 season. Today is Part 2 of 11 featuring Australians in Canada.
Jasmine Chen (OHA profile): First season in Canada. Playing for the Ontario Hockey Academy’s Jr Varsity team, Chen scored five goals and 13 assists from 56 games. She also made two appearance for the Ontario Hockey Academy’s Prep team. Heading into 2025–26, Chen has signed with BioSteel Sports Academy U22.
Emma Clarke (Gamesheet profile, ACC profile): First season with the CFHA Phantoms Storm. Playing in the New Brunswick Female AAA Hockey League’s U15 Division, Clarke recorded a 0.944 save percentage and a 1.31 goals against average from 16 games. She also represented the New Brunswick in the Atlantic Challenge Cup’s U14 Female Division, posting a 1.29 goals against average across three games.
Mitchell Collins (VIJHL profile): First season in Canada. Playing for the Kerry Park Islanders in the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League, Collins competed in three regular season games and two exhibition games where he recorded one assist.
Fred Coutts (NCHL profile): Second season with the Morinville Kings. Playing in the North Central Hockey League, Coutts recorded an assist from 14 games.
Hannah Cryan (Gamesheet profile): First season in Canada. Playing for the Fort Erie International Academy’s Falcons U22 team in the National Girls Hockey League’s 19U Division, Cryan scored two goals and one assist in 15 games. She also played five games for Fort Erie in the 2 Nations College Prep series, recording four points, and five games in the Florida Rush tournament, recording one point.
