The Sydney Sirens have appointed Amelia Matheson to the position of assistant coach for the 2025–26 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League season. Matheson is currently an assistant coach for the Newcastle Northstars in the Australian Ice Hockey League and previously served as an assistant coach for the Sydney Sirens during the 2022–23 season. She is also a former head coach of the New South Wales state team and Newcastle Northstars’ East Coast Super League team.
