Melbourne Ice have re-signed Taylie Nelson for the 2025–26 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL) season. Nelson has been part of the team’s development squad for the last two seasons, though has not seen any ice team for Melbourne.
During the 2024–25 season, she also spent time playing for the Ontario Hockey Academy’s Jr Varsity team where she recorded four goals and six assists from 53 games. In 2025–26, Nelson is also competing for North York Storm U18 A and is currently representing Australia at the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division I Group B tournament.
