Sharna Godfrey retires from international duty

Sharna Godfrey has announced her retirement from international competition after twenty-two years with the Australian women’s national team. Between 2005 and 2026, Godfrey competed at twelve World Championships, recording 28 goals and 30 assists from 58 games. With the team, she won gold at the Division II Group B tournaments in 2016, 2020, and 2025. She also won silver at the same level in 2023 and 2024, and bronze at the Division II Group A level in 2012.
