Australians overseas 2025–26: United States (part 7)

With the 2025–26 season having finished in the Northern Hemisphere we thought we would take a brief look at the Australian players who were competing overseas. Today features part 7 of 9 Australians in the United States. The information is collected from Elite Prospects and so might not be fully comprehensive.

Alexei Rayzman (USPHL profile, VIJHL profile): First season in the United States. Playing for Iron County Yeti in the United States Premier Hockey League’s (USPHL) Premier Division, Rayzman competed in 29 games, recording five goals and seven assists. In addition to playing in the USPHL, he spent part of the season in Canada playing for the Kerry Park Islanders in the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League, recording one assist from seven games.

Gustav Remler-Jensen: Second season with Atlantic Coast Academy. Playing in 18U AAA competition, Remler-Jensen recorded 16 goals and 14 assists from 49 games. He also made two appearances for the Danish men’s national under-18 team. Heading into 2026–27, Remler-Jensen is aiming to play his first season of junior hockey in the British Columbia Hockey League.

Mikko Rippon (NCDC profile): First season with the West Chester Wolves after spending 2024–25 with Lake Forest Academy. Playing in the National Collegiate Development Conference, Rippon recorded one assist in nine games. After his nine games, Rippon left West Chester to join Finnish club TUTO Hockey of the U20 Mestis where he competed in 14 games, recording one goal and two assists.

Phoebe Roberts (Arcadia University profile): Third season with Arcadia University. Playing in the NCAA’s Division III, Roberts competed in 23 games, recording 14 goals and 12 assists. She was also named on the All-MAC Second Team.

Nikki Sharp (Nazareth University profile): Third season with Nazareth University. Playing in the NCAA’s Division III, Sharp recorded eight goals and 18 assists from 30 games. She was also named on the Empire 8 President’s List in the fall and spring semesters, the UCHC All-Academic Team, and All-UCHC Third Team.
