Australians overseas 2025–26: United States (part 9)

With the 2025–26 season having finished in the Northern Hemisphere we thought we would take a brief look at the Australian players who were competing overseas. Today features part 9 of 9 Australians in the United States. The information is collected from Elite Prospects and so might not be fully comprehensive.

Chelsea Tsvirko (TGHF profile, Gamesheet profile): First season with the Princeton Tiger Lilies after spending 2024–25 with Union Thunder. Playing for the Princeton Tiger Lilies in the Tier 1 Girls Hockey Federation’s 14U Division, Tsvirko recorded one assist from nine games. She also made ten appearances in the Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association’s Tier I Girls 14U Division, five in the National Girls Hockey League’s 14U Division, recording one assist, and five in the Junior Women’s Hockey League’s Challenge Cup, recording one goal.

Nathan Walker (NHL profile): Seventh season with the St. Louis Blues organisation. Spending the entire season in the National Hockey League, Walker competed in 46 games, recording four goals and seven assists. Heading into 2026–27, Walker will compete in his eighth season for St. Louis having signed a two-year extension with the club in September 2025.

Charlie Wilson (NA3HL profile): Second season with the Texas Jr. Brahmas. Playing in the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), Wilson recorded eight goals and 29 assists from 51 games. He also made two appearances for Team Gold in the NA3HL’s Top Prospects Tournament, recording one assist. Heading into 2026–27, he has signed with Lindenwood University to play in the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s Division 2.

Henry York (USPHL profile): Second season with Typhoon Hockey Club (previously known as Palm Beach Typhoon). Playing in the United States Premier Hockey League’s Premier Division, York competed in 36 games and recorded three assists.

Joseph Zanlunghi (AHF profile): Second season in the United States. Playing for the Ramapo Saints in the Atlantic Hockey Federation’s 18U AA Division, Zanlunghi recording six goals and seven assists from 21 games.
