The Noarlunga Stars have defeated the Adelaide Xtreme 5–4 in game nine of the 2021-22 National Hockey Super League season. Despite their win the Stars remain last on the standings, though only trail the second placed Port Adelaide Brewers on win percentage, and the Xtreme sit clear at the top of the standings. Competition resumes on 4 February with the Brewers taking on the Stars.
