Australia U18 v HC RT Torax Poruba U18

The Australian National Under-18 Ice Hockey Team competed in an exhibition game yesterday against Czech team HC RT Torax Poruba U18. The team lost the game 1-4, with the only Australian goal coming from Kieren Webster in the first period. Poruba piled on four goals in the second and held Australia scoreless for the rest of the game. The team is currently training in Ostrava, Czech Republic as they prepare for the 2014 IIHF U18 World Championship Division III Group A tournament which gets underway on 24 March in Sofia, Bulgaria. The team will play one more exhibition game on Thursday against HC Vítkovice Steel U18 before heading to Bulgaria.
