The Adelaide Generals have defeated the Brisbane Blitz 3–2 in the second semifinal of the 2022–23 Australian Junior Ice Hockey League playoffs at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium. The Generals had qualified for the match after finishing first in the regular season and the Blitz had progressed following their win against the Sydney Sabres in the qualifying final. The Generals now advance to tomorrows grand final where they will take on the winner of the preliminary final. Meanwhile the Blitz move on to the preliminary final where they will take on the Melbourne Glaciers who had earlier defeated the Sydney Sabres in the first semifinal.
