Melbourne Ice defenceman John Aonso has signed with the Peoria Rivermen of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) for their upcoming 2024–25 season. It will be Aonso’s first season in the SPHL after spending the last four playing for SUNY-Fredonia in the NCAA’s Division III.
