Adelaide Adrenaline
– The Adrenaline have announced that goaltender Tyler Steel will not be joining the club for the 2017 season after breaking his hand during the Southern Professional Hockey League playoffs for the Huntsville Havoc. Adelaide Adrenaline
– The Adrenaline have announced the signing of Canadian goaltender Tyler Steel for the 2017 season. Steel has spent the 2016-17 season playing for the Huntsville Havoc of the Southern Professional Hockey League where he finished the regular season with a 0.914 save percentage from 35 games. Steel will join the club upon the completion of the Havoc’s season which is currently in the second round of the playoffs. For more information see the club announcement.

CBR Brave
– The Brave have announced new and returning sponsors for the 2017 season. Returning sponsors include allinsure, Coordinate, McDonald’s ACT, and Anytime Fitness who has increased their support to be a major sponsor. The clubs new sponsor is the Tuggeranong Hyperdome who comes on as a major sponsor for 2017. The ACT Government and Active Canberra will also continue their support of the National League Team Program.

Perth Thunder
Jamie Woodman will take over the captaincy for the 2017 season. Woodman replaces Sam Wilson in the position who has held it since the club joined the league in 2012. Andrew Cox will return as one of the clubs alternate captains, while Per Daniel Goransson replaces Jordan Kyros as the second alternate captain. For more information see the announcement from club.

Newcastle Northstars
– The Northstars have announced the signing of Canadian forward Steven Kuhn for the 2017 season. Kuhn has spent the 2016-17 season playing for Bisons de Neuilly-sur-Marne of the French Division 1 where he has recorded 20 points in 24 games. For more information see the announcement from the club.

Sydney Bears
– The Bears have announced the signing of Canadian forward Tyler Noseworthy for the 2017 season. Noseworthy has spent the 2016-17 season playing in the Federal Hockey League, Southern Professional Hockey League, and the North East Senior Hockey League. Mustangs replace Masters with Akins

The Melbourne Mustangs have announced the signing of Drew Akins for the 2015 season. Akins last played for the Huntsville Havoc in the Southern Professional Hockey League and has also played in the ECHL, Central Hockey League and the Polska Liga Hokejowa. Akins joins the team as the replacement for 2015 signing Rusty Masters who left the club due to personal reasons.

Adrenaline Re-Sign Liscomb

The Adelaide Adrenaline have announced the signing of Canadian Brett Liscomb for the 2014 season. Liscomb previously played for the Adrenaline in 2012, recording 43 points in 24 games and has spent the last two seasons playing in the Southern Professional Hockey League for the Fayetteville FireAntz, Huntsville Havoc and the Louisiana IceGators.

Thunder Sign Fox

The Perth Thunder have announced Canadian Justin Fox as their third import for the 2014 season. Fox has spent the last season playing for the Quad City Mallards in the Central Hockey League (CHL) and prior to that he played for the Huntsville Havoc in the Southern Professional Hockey League. Fox has also played on loan for the Tulsa Oilers in the CHL and will join former Havoc team mate Stuart Stefan who was announced yesterday by the Thunder as their second import for the season.

Thunder Sign Stefan

Perth Thunder have announced their second signing for the 2014 season with Canadian Stuart Stefan joining the team. Stefan has spent the last three seasons playing for the Huntsville Havoc in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) and before that played for Castleton State College in the NCAA’s Division III. He is the second SPHL player to join the club who last week announced the signing of Fayetteville FireAntz defenceman Corey Toy.
