The Brisbane Lightning have announced the signing of Canadian forward Kasey Kulczycki for the remainder of the 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Kulczycki spent 2022–23 playing in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) where he started his season off with the Peoria Rivermen before moving across to the Huntsville Havoc. Between 2014 and 2023 he has competed in the ECHL, the NCAA’s Division III, and the SPHL. Kulczycki also previously competed in the AIHL for the Melbourne Ice during the 2019 season where he recorded 22 points from 18 games.
