Perth Thunder
- The club will play their 100th AIHL game tomorrow against the Sydney Ice Dogs. Samuel Wilson and Jordan Kyros will also hit the 100 game mark with both players having never missed a game. For more information see the article by Chris McRae at the AIHL.com.
- Defenceman Greg Hyde will also hit a milestone this weekend, playing in his 50th game on Sunday.
- Radio station Nova 93.7FM has signed on with the club as a new sponsor. The length of the deal is currently unknown.
Sydney Bears
- Adrian Esposito will play in his 200th AIHL game this Saturday when the Bears face-off against the Brave. EliteProspects.com suggests that the mark was passed last weekend however AIHL statistics prior to 2011 are a bit questionable.
