2015 Phillip Ginsberg National Championship

The 2015 Phillip Ginsberg National Championship was completed yesterday with New South Wales defeating South Australia 3-0 in the gold medal game. The Ginsberg tournament is open to players 13 and under and is held between the State Associations. This years tournament consisted of teams from the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia. All games were held at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium in Newcastle and the tournament ran from 6 August to 9 August. Kale Costa of New South Wales top scored for the tournament with 17 points and New South Wales’ Raymond Brennan finished as the top goaltender with a save percentage of 0.935.

Ice Hockey Australia is yet to publish the complete results from the tournament on the Pointstreak website but we will update this post as soon as possible.
