The Australian men’s national under-20 team lost their third game of the 2016 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division II Group B tournament, losing to Belgium 0-6. Forward Lynden Lodge was named best Australian player of the match. In other games of the day Spain defeated China 10-1 and Romania beat Serbia 5-4 in overtime. After the end of the third round Australia remain in fifth place, trailing the leaders Spain by nine points. Australia takes on Serbia today in their fourth game of the tournament.
