Australian U18 Men defeat Chinese Taipei

The Australian men’s national under-18 team have won their second game of the 2016 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship Division III Group A tournament, defeating Chinese Taipei 6-3. Forward Liam Manwarring was named best Australian player of the match. In other games of the day Turkey defeated Israel 4-1 and Bulgaria beat Mexico 4-2. After the end of the second round Australia have moved to the top of the standings, one point clear of second placed Turkey. The teams have a rest day today and return to the ice on Thursday with Australia taking on Israel.
