2016 ECSL season: Round 2

Round 2 of the 2016 East Coast Super League season has finished with the Newcastle North Stars defeating the Penrith Raptors, while the Sydney Sting and Reach Rebels played out a 3-3 draw. Following their win the North Stars move to the top of the standings, edging out the Raptors on win percentage. The league now has a week off due to the Easter holidays and returns on 2 April with the Sting taking on the Raptors in Canterbury.
