– The Brave have announced the re-signing of Stephen Blunden for the upcoming 2016 season. Blunden first joined the Brave for the 2014 season and has played in a total of 50 games, scoring 151 points. During the AIHL off-season Blunden has been playing in the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey for the Rivière-du-Loup 3L and the Cornwall River Kings.
– The Bears have announced that they formed a partnership with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) ice hockey team, the Army Knights for the 2016 season. The Army Knights are part of the ADF Ice Hockey Association and is made up of representatives from the Army, Air Force and Navy. The purpose of the partnership is to help promote ice hockey within the ADF as well as develop emerging talent. The Bears are also offering 50% off tickets for ADF members for the season.
