2016 AIHL season: Round 4

Round 4 of the 2016 Australian Ice Hockey League season has finished with wins for the Melbourne Ice, Newcastle North Stars, Adelaide Adrenaline, Perth Thunder and Melbourne Mustangs. The Ice remain on top of the standings, five points clear of the second placed Thunder. Next week all eight teams are in action across seven games with the second Melbourne derby kicking off the action on Thursday.

This round also marks the AIHL’s return to Queensland since the departure of the Blue Tongues with the Sydney Bears hosting the Melbourne Ice in the Brisbane Battle double header.
