The final round of the 2016-17 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with the Sydney Sirens defeating the Adelaide Rush in both games at the Ice Arena. The Sirens finish the regular season in first place, twelve points ahead of the second placed Brisbane Goannas, and claim the regular season title. The teams now move onto the playoffs which will be held on 11 and 12 March at the Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink.
