Round 2 of the 2017 Australian Ice Hockey League season has finished with wins for the Melbourne Ice, Perth Thunder, Newcastle Northstars, Sydney Bears and CBR Brave. The Thunder move to the top of the standings, pushing the Brave down to second place. Next week six teams are in action across six games while the Thunder and Mustangs sit the round out on a bye.
