Pirates lose to Eagles and Flyers

The Canberra Pirates have lost their two 2017 NSW Women’s League games this weekend against the Canterbury Eagles and Blacktown Flyers. The team were shutout 0-4 in their first game against the Eagles and lost the second 1-2 against the Flyers.

The Pirates return to Australian Women’s Tier 2 Show Case Series competition on 22 July for Series 2 of the East Division. While their next games in the Women’s League are against the Sydney Bears on 12 August at the Phillip Ice Skating Centre and 13 August at the Liverpool Catholic Club Ice Rink.
