Round 5 of the 2017-18 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League has finished with the Sirens winning both games against the Brisbane Goannas. The Sirens remain on top of the standings, six points clear of the second placed Melbourne Ice. Competition resumes on 13 January with the Melbourne Ice hosting the Adelaide Rush and the Sydney Sirens travel to Brisbane to take on the Goannas.
