2019 U20 World Championships: Australia beat Chinese Taipei

The Australian men’s national under-20 team have beat Chinese Taipei 3-2 in their third game of the 2019 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division III tournament. In other games of the day South Africa shutout New Zealand 1-0, Turkey defeated Iceland 4-2 and China beat Bulgaria 6-1. Australia finish the preliminary round at the top of Group A with seven points. The teams have a rest day today and return on Saturday for the start of the playoffs with Australia taking on Bulgaria in the first semifinal.
