Defenceman Nicholas Doornbos has made his debut in the Australian Ice Hockey League, lining up for the CBR Brave in their 27 April game against the Adelaide Adrenaline. Doornbos is the brother of the Brave’s current backup goaltender Jakob Doornbos. Last season he represented the Australian Capital Territory in both the Kurt Defris National Championships and Sydney Tange National Championships.
