Australians overseas: Ben Harpur

Defenceman Ben Harpur is currently signed with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League (AHL). Harpur started the 2019-20 season with the AHL’s Toronto Marlies and recorded eleven points from 34 games before being traded to the Admirals in February 2020. After being drafted in Round 4 of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators Harpur played in his first NHL game in the 2015-16 season. He has since played in a total of 102 NHL games, all for the Senators, 170 AHL games for five different clubs, and four ECHL games. Prior to entering the NHL Harpur played four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League from 2011 to 2015.
