Australians overseas: Zane Jones

Forward Zane Jones recently completed his first season playing in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). Lining up for both the Huntsville Havoc and then the Evansville Thunderbolts Jones finished the 2019-20 season with 15 points from 33 games. Prior to debuting in the SPHL Jones had spent the last two seasons playing in the Hockeyettan, first for Sollentuna HC in 2017-18 and then for Visby/Roma HK in 2018-19. Locally Jones is a former member of the AIHL’s Newcastle Northstars from 2017 to 2018 where he recorded 48 points from 35 games.
