Defenceman Patrick Sucher recently completed his second season with the Ontario Hockey Academy (OHA), playing on their under-18 AA and Gold teams. On the under-18 AA team he played 15 games in the Prep School Hockey Federation’s U18 division, recording two penalty minutes. While on the OHA’s Gold team in the Hockey Eastern Ontario U18 AAA league Sucher finished the 2019-20 season with zero points from seven games. Sucher first joined OHA in 2018 and was placed on their under-18 AA team in the Major Midjet AA division of Hockey Eastern Ontario’s Minor AA-A League.
Locally Sucher has represented Western Australia on multiple occasions in the Ginsberg, DeFris and Tange national championships. He was also named on the Australian under-18 roster for the 2020 World Championships prior to its cancellation.
