Forward Kate Tihema recently completed her fourth season with Lindenwood University – Belleville (Lindenwood-Belleville). Playing in the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s Division 1 she finished the 2019-20 season with twelve points from 33 games. Tihema first joined Lindenwood-Belleville in 2016 and to date has played in a total of 129 games and recorded 53 points.
Locally Tihema is a former member of the AWIHL’s Adelaide Adrenaline (now the Adelaide Rush) playing with the club from 2013 to 2016. She is a current representative of the Australian women’s team having been part of the team since 2014. In the national championships Tihema has represented South Australia in the Ginsberg tournaments and Queensland in a DeFris tournament.
