Forward Gabriel Veyt recently completed his first season with the West Carleton Inferno. Playing in the National Capital Junior Hockey League he finished the 2019-20 season with five points from 16 games. During the season he also had a brief one game stint in the Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2 playing with the Ottawa West Golden Knights. Prior to the 2019-20 Veyt had spent a season with A21 Academy and a season with The Hill Academy.
Locally Veyt is a member of the AIHL’s Melbourne Ice debuting for the club in 2019. He is a former representative of the Australian under-18 team having played at the 2017 World Championships. In the national championships Veyt has represented Victoria on multiple occasions in the DeFris and Tange tournaments.
