The 7 August game of the 2021 Yarra Cup has been cancelled due to ongoing restrictions for indoor venues. The Melbourne Ice and Melbourne Mustangs are now looking to extend the Yarra Cup schedule through to the end of September instead of originally planned finish in August. The teams however haven’t said how this will affect the upcoming Capital Cup tournament which is meant to get under on 4 September.
