The Sydney Sirens have defeated the Amazon All Stars 5–0 in their exhibition game at the Macquarie Ice Rink. The Amazon All Stars team was made up for the top under-18 players from Ice Hockey NSW’s Amazon Summer League. The Sirens used the game as a means of selection for the upcoming Melbourne Invitational.
