The Melbourne Ice have lost 3–4 to the Blackhawks in their eighth game of the 2021-22 IHV Senior Summer League Division 2 season. The Ice remain third on the standings and are nine points behind the Marauders who currently lead the league. The Ice are back in action on 19 February when they take on the Braves at Oakleigh Olympic Ice Skating Centre.
