Sydney Ice Dogs captain Tomas Manco has announced his retirement after 14 seasons in the AIHL. During his playing career Manco spent a season at the CBR Brave, two at the Sydney Bears and eleven with the Ice Dogs, which included captaining the team during the 2019 season. Manco played in 339 AIHL games, scoring 97 points and recording 501 penalty minutes. He is also a former member of the Australian men’s national team, playing in six World Championships between 2007 and 2013.
