Day 12 of the 2022 Australian Ice Hockey League season sees the Sydney Bears defeat the Sydney Ice Dogs at the Macquarie Ice Rink and take a one game lead for the Wilson Cup. The Cup is awarded to the winner of the regular season series of games between the Bears and Ice Dogs. The CBR Brave remain on top of the standings, one point clear of the second placed Newcastle Northstars. Competition resumes tomorrow with the Ice Dogs hosting the Brave, the Melbourne teams playing in their second derby of the season and the Brisbane Lightning travel to Erina to take on the Central Coast Rhinos.
