The Brisbane Lightning have announced the signing of American forward Aaron Wanat for the remainder of the 2022 season. Wanat previously played two season for Erie Community College in the National Junior College Athletic Association from 2014 and 2016 and prior to that spent three seasons with the Fort Erie Meteors in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League. He is expected to make his debut for the club in todays exhibition game against the Sydney Ice Dogs.
