The Adelaide Avalanche have announced the signing of goaltender Curtis Villani for the remainder of the 2022 PHL season. Villani comes into the roster due to the absence Jeremy Friederich and is expected to play backup to Matus Trnka. Villani has most recently been playing for the Adelaide Red Wings in the 2022 Ice Hockey South Australia Premier League where he has a 0.867 save percentage and 2.73 goals against average from 11 games.
