The Adelaide Avalanche have defeated the Brisbane Rampage 11–2 in the 2022 Walker Cup elimination playoff at Iceworld Acacia Ridge. The Rampage and Avalanche had qualified for the playoffs after finishing second and third in the 2022 PHL regular season respectively. The Avalanche now advance to the Walker Cup Finals where they will play the Melbourne Ducks in a best-of-three series which begins on 11 August at iceHQ. The Ducks had earlier qualified for the Finals by finishing the regular season in first.
