Sydney Bears forward Xander Wardlaw has signed with the Oxford City Stars of the National Ice Hockey League Division 1 for their upcoming 2022-23 season. It will be Wardlaw’s first season in the United Kingdom having previously played two in Canada and one in the United States. Two other Australians, Jason Ikin and David Manning, have played for the Stars in the past. Ikin spent four seasons at the club between 2015 and 2020 while Manning was with the club during the 2019-20 season.
