Day 12 of the 2022–23 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with the Melbourne Ice defeating the Brisbane Lightning 7–1 at the O’Brien Icehouse. With their win the Melbourne Ice extend their lead at the top of the standings and are now four points clear of the second placed Sydney Sirens. Competition resumes on 7 January with the Adelaide Rush hosting the Perth Inferno and the Sydney Sirens take on the Brisbane Lightning in Brisbane.
