The Melbourne Mustangs have appointed Pat McMahon to the position of head coach. McMahon replaces Chris Lawrence who coached the team during the 2022 season and is returning in 2023 in a playing role. McMahon previously served as the head coach of the PHL’s Melbourne Ducks from March 2022 to November 2022 and was an assistant coach with the Victorian state 18 & under team for the 2022 Sydney Tange National Championship.
