The Melbourne Mustangs have announced the signing of Canadian forward Chris Lawrence for the upcoming 2023 AIHL season. Lawrence spent last season with the Mustangs as their head coach, finishing the regular season in fourth before being knocked out of the playoffs in the first round. During the 2022-23 season Lawrence has been playing his second season with the Fife Flyers in the Elite Ice Hockey League where he currently has 13 points from 38 games.
