The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the signing of Slovakian defenceman Samuel Ivanic for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Ivanic is currently playing in his first season with Linden Hockey in the HockeyEttan where he has one point and six penalty minutes from five games. Prior to joining Linden Ivanic spent three seasons with the HockeyEttan’s Kiruna IF and a season each at Bodens HF and Asplöven HC. Ivanic has also spent time playing in the HockeyTvåan, Mestis and Slovak Extraliga.
