The Perth Thunder have announced the signing of Finnish forward Ville Tenosalmi for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Tenosalmi last played during the 2017–18 season for Imatran Ketterä and Kokkolan Hermes in the Mestis as well as time on loan in the Suomi-sarja for Kotkan Titaanit and Porvoon Hunters. Between 2012 and 2018 Tenosalmi has competed in 50 Mestis games, recording seven points, and 72 Suomi-sarja games, recording 52 points.
