Forward Wehebe Darge has announced that he has signed with the Newcastle Northstars for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Darge spent the 2022 season playing for the CBR Brave where he scored 19 goals and 35 assists from 19 games. Since making his league debut in 2009 Darge has competed in 250 AIHL games and recorded 419 points.
