Sydney Sting withdrawn from the East Coast Super League

The Sydney Sting have been withdrawn from the East Coast Super League (ECSL) for the 2023 season reducing the league to a five-team competition. No announcement seems to have been made by the league or club. The Sting were a founding club of the ECSL having joined in 2002 and won four ECSL championships with their latest being in 2017.
